Black eyed girl of Cannock

I find it rather amusing and ever so slightly disturbing that the Mirror didn't have anything better to report today on the front page of it's paper than a ghost story. Especially one that is over a year old and seems to have only really surfaced again because it's a month to halloween.

It's an interesting tale that certainly sends chills down your spine though, especially when accompanied by images like this one.

We used to visit Cannock Chase when the pub closed and wander around parts of the woods... it's certainly a creepy area at night. You could occasionally find odd, creepy things tied to trees like bundles of sticks, or children's toys. Oh wait... that was us!
