The Eagle Has Landed

Here's another set from Mapledurham, slightly different time period.

Long after the English Civil War, Mapledurham played host to another type of war altogether; this time on the big screen with Michael Caine playing the role of a german officer sent to kidnap Churchill. Sadly we didn't get to see Michael Caine or Donald Sutherland this time, but there were plenty of soldiers in German, British and American uniforms displaying an array of vehicles and equipment.
