Finishing projects

The thing I've learned over the last few days is that by finishing a project, you realise you want to add more to it, even if it is one that you didn't think you wanted to carry on with. My two updates in the Analogue Hobbies challenge today were both meant to be one shot and done; much like the Wars of the Roses project last year... Unfortunately my st00pid brain now wants me to add more to them even though, in the case of the Germans, it took me 2+ years to get around to painting them up in the first place.

Finishing projects is a nice feeling though. I must do it more!

  1. I think when you want to add more. It shows a love for a period or genre. I have tons of 7TV figs and probably have only ever used a third of them lol

    1. Oh it definitely does. However, I'd like to get to the point where the only unpainted items I have are the bits that I just bought, rather than a massive backlog of things making me feel guilty.

Like that is *ever* going to happen!

    1. I think we all do. Every blog I follow seems to have a selection of projects that are drifting ever onwards ;)
