Living Statue

In an attempt to multi-purpose some of my models for different systems and eras I decided that the Talos miniature from Crooked Dice would be better suited as a living stone statue. This means he'll be fine for Warhammer Quest, 7TV and the 7TV spin off, 7th Voyage. Can't say fairer than that really, can you?

Painting this guy was an absolute dream and couldn't be much simpler.

He was given a white undercoat first and then multiple washes of different shades of grey to get the stone effect. To add a bit of variation to the colours, I then attacked him with some brown washes around the lecgs and some of the AK Interactive Slime weathering liquids where I thought moss may be growing.

Last but not least was a hefty dose of sand coloured weathering powders on the feet.
