We started clearing out the attic yesterday and I came across a gargoyle statue from way back in my old goth days. I've no idea where it came from, but it's the sort of thing you find in Camden market. It was about to go in the charity shop bag when I realised that it was perfect for another piece of terrain; it'll become a really nice statue for the cult to worship.
Looks great - would be even more awsome if you drilled out the insides and added some red LED lights for the eyes...
ReplyDeleteAll the best,

Not sure about glowing eyes, but I do need to add some gloss varnish to the blood around the eyes when it's had a coat of varnish
DeleteWhat a find and wonderful paint job, you've really brought that to life.
ReplyDeleteThanks. He was ever so close to going in the bag... I'm glad the brain kicked in at the last minute!
